Hi Everyone
My name is Renata and I have been delivering Jewellery Making classes in Brisbane for almost 15 years.This passion of mine started initially during my studies at Queensland College of Art when I was invited to teach the 1st year’s Jewellery & Small Objects courses whilst completing my Master Degree in Visual Art (Research).
After majoring in Jewellery & Small Objects in 2014, I founded my studio Lexi de Cora which is currently based in the Tenerife, Brisbane. Here I offer private 1o1 classes that allow students to design their own class/workshop structures. This is also where I design & make my unique jewellery lines as well as produce commission pieces for private clients.
Since 2012 I have also been regularly facilitating short courses and workshops at Brisbane Institute of Art. As a jewellery making tutor I also worked with other local organisations, including Flying Arts Alliance, Artisan, Gemworld as well as TAFE Gold Coast.
I truly enjoy sharing my skills with people from various backgrounds, no previous experience included. Our absolutely mesmerising Charcoal Casting Workshop is the perfect start for anyone wanting to try their hand in the beautiful craft of making jewellery from precious metals.
